- Does history have to repeat itself?
- Take photos of your Rise of ISIS web, your Syrian Civil War timeline, and your WWII Timeline. Put those photos on your DP. Make these photos big so that we can clearly see their contents
- Below each photo, add a caption that describes what the assignment was. .
- Below the Rise of ISIS web, write the paragraph you wrote on the front of the paper that answered the question, “From the documentary, what do you think was the most important event that caused ISIS to rise to power?”

- Watch the footage and decide which are the best responses.
- Add those responses to your film. Cut out parts that are less exciting or have redundant information
- Create an opening credits page:

- Whenever you use information that didn’t come from your brain, you need an in-text citation.
- An in-text citation comes at the end of a sentence in parenthesis (Last Name of Author, Year of Publication).
- EXAMPLE: The most recent study from the Regional Task Force for the Homeless (RTFH) found that 8,741 people were homeless in San Diego County (RTFH, 2015).
- EXAMPLE: Within those 8,742 people, 4,156 were sleeping in the streets, in makeshift housing, or in automobiles while 4,586 were sleeping in shelters (RTFH, 2015).
